France: The Riviera and the Paris Games
Not every SXT adventure happens underwater. This one was a celebration of summer in France, timed around a once-in-a-lifetime occasion: the 2024 Games in Paris. We began on the sun-drenched Cote d'Azur and worked our way north to a city absolutely electric with the energy of the world arriving at its doorstep.
Day by day
Days 1-5
The Cote d'Azur
We settled into the French Riviera and let its easy glamour take over: the seaside promenades of Nice, the perched stone village of Eze, the harbor at Antibes, and day trips to the storied glitz of Monaco and Saint-Tropez. Long lunches, turquoise Mediterranean swims, and golden Riviera evenings.
Days 6-11
North to Paris and the Games
We traded the coast for the capital, arriving in a Paris buzzing with the spectacle of the 2024 Games. Between the events we soaked up the city itself: a cruise along the Seine, the grandeur of Versailles, world-class museums, and the simple joy of wandering its neighborhoods as the whole world celebrated alongside us.
Days 12-16
Savoring the City of Light
We gave ourselves time to live like Parisians for a few more days, lingering in cafes, gardens and markets, before bittersweet goodbyes and the journey home from an unforgettable French summer.
