SXT app
Help for the SXT trip companion.
The SXT app is the trip companion for travelers who are booked on an SXT trip. It carries your itinerary, trip information, announcements, documents your trip team shares with you, the trip group chat, and trip photos.
There is no sign-up in the app. You can sign in once you have a confirmed trip and we have your email address on the booking. SXT staff sign in with their staff account.
Signing in is by email link. You enter your email address, we send you a link, and opening the link signs you in. There is no password.
If no email arrives, check that you used the email address on your booking, and look in your spam or junk folder. Wait a few minutes and try again. When an email address does not match a traveler with a confirmed trip, nothing is sent, and the app cannot tell you which of these it was. If you are still stuck, email your trip team at hello@sxtadventures.com.
You see only the trips you are assigned to. Trips you are not on do not appear, and neither do other travelers’ private messages with staff.
Trips you opened while you had a connection stay readable when you are offline, which is the point on a boat or in a remote lodge. Documents that have been approved for you show a saved status when the app is holding a copy on your phone.
Sending messages, uploading photos, and receiving updates all need a connection. When you sign out, the app deletes its saved copies of trips, messages, and documents on that phone.
The app asks for permission to send notifications the first time it needs to. If you say no, the app still works, you just will not get alerts.
Other travelers on your trip see your name on messages you send to the group and on photos you post. SXT staff can read private messages between you and the trip team.
Photos you upload are resized, and location data is removed from them before they are stored.
Our community guidelines explain what is and is not allowed in the app.
To report something, email hello@sxtadventures.com with the trip name, what happened, and a screenshot if it is safe to send one. Staff can remove content and restrict accounts.
If your version of the app includes a Report option, you can also use that.
Our privacy policy covers what the app collects, who can see it, and how long we keep it.
To ask us to delete your data, use our data deletion page. It explains what a request covers, what we have to keep, and how the request is handled.
For anything about the SXT app, email hello@sxtadventures.com. Include your trip name and the email address on your booking so we can find you.
