Some of our travelers come back year after year, and this was one such grand European return: a two-week tour pairing the romance of Paris with the pageantry of London, hopping between them on the Eurostar beneath the Channel. Two iconic capitals, one unforgettable trip.

Days 1-5
The art and romance of Paris
We based ourselves in the heart of Paris, losing days to the Louvre, the soaring stone of Notre-Dame, the artists' lanes of Montmartre, and long riverside walks along the Seine. Cafe creme by morning, world-class dining by night, the City of Light at its most seductive.
Days 6-7
Under the Channel to London
We boarded the Eurostar and slipped beneath the Channel to London in a couple of effortless hours, swapping French boulevards for the buzz of one of the world's great cities.
Days 8-16
The pageantry of London
London unfolded at a grand pace: the pageantry of Buckingham Palace, the sweep of the London Eye, history around every corner, West End theatre, and the endless neighborhoods, markets and pubs that give the city its character. A fitting second act to a classic European tour.
